The background for these sculpture series is basically the same as in The Landscape/Kungslena.
The rubber mat makes the original for castings in bronze and wax. Every layer has been cut out and glued together. I had been wanting to work with bronze for a long time, and this was a way for me to make a try with the material. I have put the bronze against the same forms but in wax, a meeting between medium and its different surfaces, reflections, weight and durability.
